The 18-hole Gary Player designed Pun Hlaing Golf Club opened in 2000 and is situated 12 kilometers west of Yangon, gateway to Myanmar. Pun Hlaing Golf Club is often referred to as the ‘Pride of Myanmar’ and has played host to some tournaments in the region, including the Myanmar Masters Tour in 2008 and 2009 and Myanmar Open in 2017 and 2018.
This 7,012-yard championship course is enjoyable for every golfer, from beginners to the most experienced. The course is laid out on what were previously paddy fields and the meeting point of three different rivers, the Hlaing, Pun Hlaing, and Yangon.
With a well-kept golf course and first-class facilities, Pun Hlaing Golf Club is a top facility for golf in Yangon.
